Eau Claire is a village in Berrien County, in the Niles-Benton Harbor metro area. The estimated population, in 2003, was 646. Eau Claire is at the junction of the Chippewa and Eau Claire rivers. The charter bus group members will be interested to find that the community name derives from French for "clear water".
