I’ll start with the worst thing about The
Squeeze Inn in Sacramento California….it’s really literally a big
squeeze in there! We got off the charter bus, tired out with hunger-pangs the
magnitude of a reasonable earthquake and were not turned on with the size of
the place. But the Sacramento
CA charter bus driver assured us
that it would be worth it. He looked at his watch and said, “Just the right
timeâ€â€¦which presumably was supposed to assure us that food would be on the
table within seconds. But it wasn’t….and yet, The Squeeze Inn in Sacramento California
remains to be one of the more popular eateries here.
Forget about the fact that you’re eating in
a diner the size of a medium-sized room, if you’re ever in Sacramento for a
charter bus holiday trip, you’ve just got to sample the ‘Squeeze Burger’ for
yourself. It’s one of the most delicious burgers I’ve ever had the pleasure of
eating! Seriously….diet be damned. Sure, parking is a huge problem there as
well but if like the rental charter bus driver said, you’d just have to make
time for it or plan ahead. So, it’s not the fast food kind of join….but more
like a place where you’d have to sit around enjoying the morning paper or a cup
of freshly brewed coffee while waiting for your burger to bake!
Lucky for us, we had the Sacramento CA
rental charter bus waiting outside, so, parking wasn’t a problem. We got the
driver a burger for himself. All in all, food was served in about twenty
minutes to half-an-hour but it was all worth the wait. The thing is that one
would have to understand the reason people continue to make their way to this Sacramento CA
rental charter bus diner even through parking is horrendous and the wait is a
mile long – it’s worth it! Impatient people or people on the run should just
make do with McDonalds or something. In my personal opinion, if you want to try
out one of the best burgers that Sacramento
CA has to offer, patience is the
price to pay.
There’s one thing about bringing the kids
here, though. I don’t think a whole school of kids cramming in on this Sacramento CA
restaurant during summer is a good idea. If you had a rental charter bus
waiting outside, get the kids to stay inside the charter bus while you order
the takeout. And then chow-down can happen in the comfort of the Sacramento CA
rental charter bus.
